Getting Started at SCC

Suburban Community Channels is a community media center whose mission is to empower the community with the tools, knowledge, and access to media. Through SCC, the public (individuals and organizations) is empowered with access to television: the world's most powerful communications medium. Anyone can use media production tools, resources, and community cable channels to express a wide variety of non-commercial opinions, creativity, and other messages.

Community members who are residents, as well as non-residents can register and take SCC certification classes. Registrations for SCC certification classes are accepted on a first-come basis and everyone is encouraged to register early since class sizes are limited. These low-cost certification courses are offered regularly throughout the year by the SCC staff.
